if you've never watched Last Life and have no idea what the context of the video is, I'll give you some help!
This animatic is centered around two pairs:
Grian and Mumbo (red)
Bdubs and Etho (blue)
At the start of Last Life, everyone gets assigned a random amount of lives. Once you lose all your lives, you are permanently dead. However, when you get onto your final life, your name becomes red and your objective changes from "survive" to "kill everyone else". When you become red, your alliances are also cut, meaning that you cannot team up with anyone who isn't red.
During the events of Last Life, Grian and Bdubs both become a red name. They each go to their trusted partners (Mumbo and Etho) and try to convince them to go red with them voluntarily, not wishing to kill them. Since Grian and Bdubs are red now, they can no longer team up with their trusted partners anymore (by the rules of the game) unless Mumbo and Etho also go red. This animatic shows these two pairs back and forth, as they attempt to convince the other to join them on the red name side.

Ah yes, love that classic moment from Last Life where the disgraced red-life Builder can't bring themselves to kill their best bud so just try to convince their passive Redstoner friend to willingly sacrifice themselves so they can continue to have fun together, only to be declined for fear of exile. Great moment, an event you totally only ever see once.

Mumbo shouldn’t be worried about being “disgraced or disowned by the town” he already was by making a bunker instead of a tower.

I love how this animatic makes Grain and Bdubs seem insane, Grain in more subtle way.. Really makes me think about these events in mumbo and Etho's perspective rather then Grain and Bdubs. I really love how grain is pretty much threatening mumbo with the pickaxe throughout his part.

the part when grian expands his wings and starts to fly really got me. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. THE MOVEMENT, THE AUDIO CHOICE, THE CHARATER DESIGN AND ARTSTYLE. I don't see how this could be any better then it allready is, a true masterpiece.

i REALLY love how you differentiate the power imbalance between both pairs, with grian and etho being the ones in control (despite bdubs being red, not etho). in the first shot of mumbo and grian, mumbo is the one backing up nervously and sweating while grian is the one advancing in, whereas with bdubs and etho, it's the opposite--etho is the one in charge of the conversation, sitting down first and looking steady and unwavering. mumbo avoids eye contact and averts his glance constantly, while etho is constantly staring right at bdubs, usually looking down at him from above. the final frame shows it best, with etho unimpressed squinting, and mumbo's wide-eyed panic. so much thought went into every frame and it's incredible and i genuinely can't stop watching and picking up on different things, AMAZING WORK

Parts that stood out to me: 0:49 The way you managed capture the sadness in Ethos eyes just killed me! 1:08 The way you managed to make Mumbo seem confident yet still show how he was nervous. 1:21 THE SPIN! And then the sadness in Bdubs’s eyes. 😭 1:32 the flip! Beautiful! 1:46 the way Etho takes off his mask so Bdubs can see his whole face and see he’s serious about this. 2:27 You somehow managed to perfectly capture the sadness, loneliness, and craziness in both of them. 2:31 Finally, Etho looks like he isn’t going to even give it a second thought, it’s just a “no,” and he has a plan. And then, Mumbo looks like he feels sorry for Grian but he won’t turn red for him. Beautiful

1:50 (ish) is genius! Ethos taking his mask off and BDubs in a genuine moment of shock because he knows this is getting serious, the attention to detail!! As well as Grian able to grow and ungrow(?) wings is an amazing way to portray he’s amazing with Elytra and a good poke at Hermitcraft which both him and Mumbo are in and the series Grian got addicted to wings in 😂 but seriously this is insane and I’ve already watched it many times!

I like how Bdubs was basically portrayed as the devil on Etho’s shoulder in this, but Etho’s the more mischievous one of the two.

I love how Bdub’s expression goes from annoyed to afraid when Etho takes off the mask.

Now that Season 2 is ended, the irony of what occurs after this makes this even better. Your animating skills are simply stunning!!!!!

I'm absolutely freaking out over this! The pacing was matched so well with the tempo, you can feel the energy and the tension between the red lifers and the ones they're trying to convince. THAT CHOREOGRAPHY THOUGH!! I wasn't expecting Mumbo to just pull incredible moves on the ladders, and just seeing that like. It blew my mind. Etho almost "dancing" with Bdubs in a way, and how he spun, and then Grian actually flying circles around Mumbo like!! The dynamism and how you connected the two groups together with parallels and similar scenes, especially that last bit where it was the exact same fluid motion!! This was everything I could've imagined and even more, congratulations to you for finishing this project! You worked so hard on it, and it paid off BIG TIME

THIS IS SO GOOD ETHO BRINGING DOWN HIS MASK THE WAY GRIAN FLEW SHOWING HOW FREE HE WAS THE FACT THAT MUMBO LOOKED GENUINELY KIND OF SAD BY THE FACT THAT HE HAD TO DECLINE AND THE SADNESS IN BDUVS EYES WHEN ETHO REJECTED HIS OFFER ITS SO GOOD
