ANGRY homeowner CONFRONTS me while cleaning yard, demands I leave or ELSE

What a bizarre situation here, I was contacted online by a female that mentioned the back of her property was overgrown and she wanted to know if we could cleanup the fence line as the neighbors brush tends to overgrow into her yard. I was on the fence but thought, we can swing by really quick, it won’t take to long and that quickly turned into a mistake.
You’ll notice a big pile of dirt or sand here as I walked into the backyard. Lots of weeds and overgrowth from all the neighbors it looks like. Looks like an old row boat and canoe and look at this pile of weeds here. Along the fence here it’s overgrowing into their yard as well.
When I stopped and knocked on the door, no one answered, that was a key look takeaway that I should have walked away.
I was approached by a man who at first I thought was going to say hi then I thought he was joking but quickly learned, he wasn’t messing around. He apparently works a lot and I woke him up, he told me to leave and asked if I seen what happened to Donald Trump last week and he suggested I leave so that doesn’t happen to me.
I always look back at these situations and try to figure out how I could have handled it differently, what would you have done. This literally just happened 2 days ago so I wanted to get the word out but I did later learn this isn’t his residence but he was frustrated I woke him up with the heavy machinery.

That guy is an asshole!! He threatened you and that’s not acceptable. For him to say this is my neighborhood not yours, and in front of your son crazy.

That man made a threat of violence! You should have called the police and had him arrested. He can sleep in a jail cell.

Call the police and make a report. Contact the owner and show her the video. You offered an apology and he refused.

Very ungrateful people, he did not have to be nasty and rude to you and your son. This is not acceptable and should be reported to the police.

I understand the guy's annoyance, but he had no need to be so aggressive about the situation. You offered a handshake, but he was so rude to ignore that gesture. You are in no way to blame, I think there was something else going on that you are not aware of.

If you are threatened you need to call the police after you are in a safe place. Nobody has the right to threaten your life.
