I am from Mauritania and I did not know about the existence of this special and miraculous community. Thank you for shedding light on unknown and special things.

Even though they can't see, their life is filled with hardship. Instead of complaining, they choose to be thankful and follow God's commandments without regret. This is truly inspiring. I love them from the bottom of my heart ❤️

As a Mauritanian girl, born and raised in the capital, this made me tear up soo bad, I've never at all heard about this great wonderful forgotten village in our country, i blame my self and my gouvernement for not putting a spot on these hornrable peoples and giving them a better life that they deserve more than all of us
  • Shout out to the teacher who helped him learn the Quran and make him feel totally normal

Blind tribe is showing so much gratitude to almighty God even living in harsh conditions 😢😢 so beautiful people
  • Incredible. As a muslim these people inspire me so much. I cannot describe it. May Allah put them in the highest jannah.

I kind of feel like this was a missed opportunity. There are so many questions that the interviewer could have asked but didn't. For instance: how does the village sustain itself? Do the blind villagers cultivate any particular valuable skills/abilities (such as being able to locate underground water wells) that sighed people generally are not able to access? How are life mates/romantic partners chosen when appearance is not a consideration? How do villagers identify/locate their friends in community gatherings? Etc...
  • This people has inspired me. Thank you God for all your blessings. For a roof over my head. Thank you for my children and family. Thank you for my health and wealth. God forgive me for the times when I am ungrateful for silly things. Let's all spread positivity and help the needy around us.

I am Mauritanian and I never heard of this village who is filled with these beautiful blind people.
  • MashaAllah the Faith, simplicity, satisfaction of these people is truly commendable!!! The best definition of being a human, A Muslim. Love from Pakistan
  • "My happiness comes from reading the Quran!" Touched my heart, how one can be so grateful without having sight to see the creator's beauty, and we have all amenities in abundance in the west, beautiful colourful landscapes, mountains lakes, not able to be grateful. something to ponder upon. May the Creator make us all grateful and the winner of the hereafter!
