This movie is such a beautiful movie. I highly recommend it. Sometimes we don’t know our worth until we lose ourselves within ourselves. Sometimes our significant other don’t know our worth until they lose us. Such a great storyline!
  • One of the best movies to be honest. I don’t remember how I stumbled upon it on YouTube years ago but that’s what makes it special to me. I encourage everyone to watch. it’s a hidden gem ! Suddenly seventeen (movie name )

Alright so a little context this movie is called suddenly seventeen and it's about a 28yr old woman wanting her boyfriend of 10yrs to marry her but instead he broke up with her so she bought these magic chocolate that made her wake up in her 17yr old self. The guy in the subway is who her 17yr old self fell in love with but the guy in the coat at the police station was her ex....It's a really great movie and in the end she chose no one but instead found herself
  • I want to fall in love like the characters on this film. But I don't like to feel the pain of broken heart like her.

I had a similar experience but since I can't draw I wrote it in my diary. Maybe because of my upbringing I'm the type of girl that doesn't fall in love easily. But one day I was on my way home from school when I decided to go to a mall and visit a bookstore. There was like a formal party going on because of the opening of a luxury bag store and he was one of the guests there. He's the very charming and good-looking guy I have ever seen. I'm an Asian and I can compare his beauty to that one of famous k-pop artists or actors. He looks like the bad boy fictional character you're reading in books that even though he's full of red flags you'd still love that kind of feeling. Maybe he sensed that someone staring at him and looking in my direction. We stared at each other for a moment. I fell in love. And called that love at first sight. I wrote all about him in my diary. He took a special place in my memory and my diary. But unfortunately, after that, I never saw him again.
  • I watched this out of curiosity and boredom and really enjoyed it lol. Losing self respect over some one you like or a partner, then finding your self worth/love again. I liked the ending, sometimes things don’t go the way we want, going on a adventure to realise some of us don’t need a man!! Very deep and relatable. I light rewatch it
  • I don't know how many times I repeated the train scene in the movie. It's just so beautifully captured. So much of love and affection without any words uttered.
  • This movie left an impact on me. Her adult self decided to go to her bf made me so annoyed. But how much it saddened me to see her 17 yrsold self lose her love and die, damn!! It is a dull ache which comes whenever I think of this movie. Lead actress did an amazing job.
  • I don't know why....but i love this movie so much.....the number of times I've seen this video is astronomical!
  • It was one of the best movies I watched a long time ago. Now seeing this makes me wanna rewatch it :')

The movie is a gem indeed, and the ending is perfect, not at all sad (unless maybe if you are a teenager). The young self was about to do the same mistake all over again, like she dit the first time: giving up her dreams for an immature love with the same sad result. Life is about learning to make good choices, valuing yourself and become able to build healthy relationships.
  • So bad Yang couldn't stay and keep on persuaing her. She deserved to be loved but fortunately, her love for herself is restored too.
