"My brother Frank was tremendous...my ceiling was his floor." the humility on this dude. I LOVE this podcast!
  • @BanjoleleGamer
Ken speaks so well for a dude who fought his whole life, much respect
  • Here, I don't say this lightly, but this has to be the best MMA Podcast for guys like me who grew up on the early UFC. And for the newcomers wanting to know about these OG fighters who built the sport. Keep it up boys, smashing it!
  • @JEG69
i love that his podcast is all mma fighters and figures, no other celebrity bullshit
  • Rampage should’ve been doing podcasts 5 years ago. Comedy gold 😂😂 this podcast about to blow up
  • @willi6880
Truly one of the most fan friendly fighters ive ever met. Met shamrock multiple times, took genuine time with every fan
  • “My ceiling was his floor”. It’s so cool to see Ken speak so highly of Frank after many years of hearing rumours of them not getting along.

Ken Shamrock was the sole reason why I was introduced to the concept of MMA in 2003. I used to watch WWF on free TV in New Delhi, India and we used to get re-runs of WWF sometimes 2 years later in late 90s-early 2000s. I was 13 years old in 2002 and as I was watching WWF and I saw Ken Shamrock, he didn't seem literally anything like any other pro wrestler in WWF. He had fluidity, less flashy, seemed more effective, something my teenage mind was able to figure out somehow. Almost an year goes by, I see Ken once again on one of the re-runs and the next day at school, I was talking to some of my friends and someone mentioned Pride. I contacted the telecommunications department of the government of India which controlled free TV at the time, asked them when they would air the next Pride event, and they told me it would be aired on January 01, 2004 at 4 AM. Lo and behold, they aired Pride FC: Final Conflict 2003, my first MMA event and I couldn't believe what was happening. Ken and Frank Shamrock should be celebrated so, so much more by the MMA community. True pioneers and living legends! Thanks as always for the podcast, Bear, Rampage, and Ken! ♥️🤘🙏

OMG they brought Ken Shamrock before JRE. Ken Shamrock brought the storyline, trash talk, and drama into UFC after leaving WWF/WWE. This man deseeves soo much respect for MMA. HOF UFC and WWE/F
  • @joediffy
Worlds most dangerous Man! Back in the day that is what they called Ken. Hats off to this man for all his fights and what he has done for the sport!
  • I remember seeing ken fight as a young teenager in the mid 90s and thinking he’s was a killer built like a Greek God. He was just smashing guys. Respect to Ken one of the first Guys to put MMA all together practicing all styles. He paved the way for what MMA is today.
  • @Brainstorms77
Shamrock is a legend. Glad you had him on. What a career this guy has had
  • @pitviper23
Man... Thank you guys for giving these legends a voice before we lose them, Ken Shamrock thank you, me and my friends were ghetto kids with no real guidance and found the training tenants for the Lions Den online and used those to keep ourselves busy and disciplined. We appreciate the lessons you all learned and shared with us newbies...
  • @TechShanty
This is by far the best MMA podcast on the planet ATM. You guys actually let the athletes tell their stories without interrupting. Also Rampages input is always gold. Bear does a great job carrying the conversations between topics. Keep it up guys
  • @MichaelGalt
I grew up on the very first UFCs and have basically followed it my entire life. Reality is, Ken is literally a big part of the reason modern UFC exists. Ken Shamrock, the Gracies, Tank, Dan Severn, Don Frye, Kimo. Those men were animals and absolute savages. Then you got Frank Shamrock, Rampage, Wanderlei, GSP, Silva, and all those people who did great in weight classes. Back when Ken started... NO weight classes, almost no rules, tournament style. It was HARDCORE. There is still nothing which compares. I always wish they would do some open weightclass tournaments again, remove the time limits. Or, make it 1 25 minute round with a 5 minute overtime if no one had quit, been submitted or knocked out.
  • Damn never knew ken shamrock was such a good conversationist. They always portrayed him as a meathesd. But i could listen to him all day telling his stories
