  • Leylah is compose yet aggressive. She never gives up all the time. She is a fighter!

I didn’t think they would actually upload this. This was my favorite match of the tournament. Leylah made me a fan here. I was sad I didn’t bother to watch her first 2 rounds. I didn’t expect her to reach the 3rd round. Leylah’s tenacity is inspiring. She’s a fun player to watch and she’s adorable. Osaka found out what it’s like to be the star shocked by a relatively unknown teen. Watching Leylah was the best part of this US Open for me even if she didn’t win.
  • I am looking forward to seeing you soon Laylah. Wonderful play from both players. 😍❤🙏
  • People undersetimating Fernandez as if she aint the French Open junior Champion!

Clean ball striking for both lady, a nice match to enjoy .

Hopefully Leylah doesn't get too much hyped and affects her mental. They both great players. Although, the crowd was definitely a big reason for this outcome.

Maybe Naomi doesn't feel so bad about losing now after seeing what Leylah did against other top players.

Naomi-perhaps this match is whats needed for you to refresh your mind and soul and come back being the champion you are again. You have all the talent and physical skills. Come back mentally stronger when you are ready. This match is a blessing in disguise❤️

This is the breakthrough match that leylah introduced herself to the tennis world, comparable to Naomi beating Serena at Indian Wells and the world took notice of her.
  • @roysantiago9131
Osaka really struggles against players who take time away from her. She’s unable to run fast and set up her shots. That’s why players like Bencic and Fernandez are able to keep up with her in matches

I had not seen the match and didn't realize Naomi had this match in the bag. It slipped away.
  • @andreaho
Waiting so long for this one. Thanks.

Osaka could’ve ended this game easily in straight sets, but she got in her head. Get better Naomi and come back you are a champion.
  • Osaka is a much more stronger player. Tennis is also a mental sport and it affected Osaka that day.
  • @trommelbiel
Naomi is a very emotional person. As soon as the crowd started cheering for Leylah that was the end of her game.
