My favourite part of 6 is how even though Saejima isn't playable nor relevant to the story, the writers still threw him in prison again.

Shinada flashing every couple of frames was genuinely hilarious. Also yeah, I wished 6 had more legacy characters since this was gonna be Kiryu's last hurrah. Nice to see Date, Akiyama and the kids.

I think we all know the best part about Yakuza 6 was the fish spearing minigame

What's really cool is that with the new engine, they put their blood, sweat, tears, and cum into making the story cutscenes look fucking amazing. They didn't need to make such delicate shots like the baby formula in the opening but they did. Definitely the most beautiful Dragon Engine game in the series, and it hasn't gotten close to this quality again until Lost Judgment, and judging by trailers, the next two games are gonna either replicate the Lost Judgment standard, or maybe even look as good as Y6 again.

Consuming your drink from the vending machine out in the street is the COOLEST feature that I desperately wish we could get back. I have no idea how such a small, but well detailed feature hasn’t been seen since. Oh, and that well detailed and developed character Shinada. Sega, bring him back. Plz. Shinada, my beloved :_SnowiestShinada:

Kiryu's DE moveset seems to be more inclined towards Crowd Control, fitting since DE fights usually have way more enemies but it's a bit annoying having these elaborate drawn out animations when, with the previous moveset it was snappy, fast and responsive. I think the grabs exemplify this the most.

It honestly feels weird Tanimura didn't appear in 6 (or Judgement). The dude would be out for blood if he learned Little Asia was on fire

Despite its many flaws, I absolutely adore this game, and it's easily the one I can't wait to replay! The cast was lacking previous key characters, but the new ones were great (especially Someya!)

For me the most outrageous thing this game didn’t do was give a nice send off to Kiryu and Komaki relationship. Komaki not even showing up was fr offensive to me

speaking of yakuza 6, it is worth mentioning that the encounters are definitely shorter than in the earlier entries of yakuza, which in my opinion is a huge plus;

I honestly enjoyed how in 6 there's a bunch of little dudes kiryu can just one tap. It really makes him feel more like a badass veteran fighter at least that's how I always saw it

I have a soft spot for Y6 just because Onomichi is only about 40 mins from the place I taught English back in the mid-2010s. I never got it on PS4 but if I had known, I definitely would’ve picked it up sooner!

I love 6’s physics and dragon engine physics in general. I fucking loving kicking a guy to Saturn or when a boss flies off screen immediately when the victory slowed time thing ends .2 seconds before the cutscene.

spoilers I still find it crazy that this was supposed to be the end of the Kiryu saga and previous allies such as Majima, Akiyama and Saejima did not show up at the final battle against Iwami.

Kiwami on PS4 allows you to save everywhere aswell
