Thank you crowdstrike for likely giving many non IT people a 3 day weekend .
  • Why is the world dependent on one IT operating system .... in the hands of one source, it's a disaster waiting to happen...diversify
  • @ice319
I'm a supervisor for NYC subways. We are running, but we are having the same issues everyone else is. We have to clock our trains manually, old school style. Stay safe everyone 👍🏾

CrowdStrike Developer: I don’t always test my new code but when I do, I test it in production.
  • The root cause of this outage is actually from Crowdstrike, not a Microsoft update. Turns out, they bungled the update of their falcon sensor, and it's stuck in a boot loop which is what is causing the outage.
  • Why are they all saying it's a Microsoft outage when it's Crowdstrike
  • @Sleeperknot
It is not Microsoft Outage. it is caused by CrowdStrike falcon sensor, installed in many Windows computers around the world. it is an over smart antivirus. Stop blaming Microsoft.

This is a worldwide IT outage. SKY news has the best reporting on this right now.

When the software you add to prevent catastrophe causes catastrophe....Thanks CrowdStrike

It has affected students dramatically. Especially those with exams and assignments worldwide 🌐

Don't take your personal laptop into work... Just don't
  • @irandude1655
Every company have called their IT staff to work on it. And all IT people, we just sit around because there is nothing we can do when the Microsoft server itself is down.
  • This happened in Canada when we had an outage with a major phone line. Planes grounded, no one could pay anything with debit cards and credit cards, no internet no phones. It’s incredible how we don’t realize that we are living in a dangerous monopoly.
  • @Tolg
Everything I've come to expect from mainstream media... completely wrong analysis, blaming Microsoft for a Crowdstrike disaster
  • @officialWWM
Well, it was only a matter of time before this happened…
  • If it's Microsoft and not Crowdstrike, how am I watching this video and reading my email this morning?

Jeez this month has been a crazy one so far and we aren’t done.
