Catching Blue Cats Before a Storm

Published 2023-03-14
With the bad weather moving in, I didn't want to go all the way to the Potomac River. So I used the last of my frozen bait and some chicken to help land some tough fighting big blue catfish on the lower Susquehanna River. Wasn't my best day but it was still a great one. Thanks for watching!

You got to fight fish, wind, and the cold. Now that is multi-tasking at a different level. Nicely done.

... 9:00 nothing wrong with weighing fish IMHO. Jeff .
  • Some nice ones the more I see of it down there just might have to try it next winter here's to a good year good luck
  • Another awesome video man. Looks like the stock down there is slowly getting bigger and bigger! I just looked through the state records for PA and I can't find a blue cat record? Just a matter of time until they show up in numbers in PA waters again. It will be cool to watch the record grow. I know they just stocked them down in the Pitt. Area. I'm pretty on the fence about them being stocked, but it will definitely be interesting to watch how it plays out.
  • This is awesome man, love these videos. I’ve fished around there from shore often for other species never tried for blues. Wanna give it a go this season, where can I pick up fresh shad?
