You got to fight fish, wind, and the cold. Now that is multi-tasking at a different level. Nicely done.

Love your channel! I’m new to this area. Seems you are doing well. Are you anchored?

Yeah Oklahoma it’s 3 rods year round at Stanley Draper lake and lake Hefner it depends on what time of the year it is. During the summer it’s one and then from fall to spring it’s two. I fished Eufaula lake a lot in past years but honestly don’t know what the law is there. Because I never fished with more than one or two rods, but you can use a cast net in the Eufaula lake but not at Draper or Hefner! I haven’t ever fished Tinkiller but I have camped there once. There’s some other lakes like Kitchen lake a couple miles from Draper I fished a few times, but it’s so small that you can’t see how it got its name and you can’t use a shad net there either! I fished Liberty lake with my mom as a young teen in Guthrie Oklahoma at night off the rocks off of the dam for catfish a couple of times. Not sure about the laws on fishing there though. I tried the green shad sold at Academy this year and never got a bite on that store stuff. I always caught my own shad when I fished Eufaula lake in my 30s. Never caught anything big though, 2 or 3 pounds at best and usually some pale blue cat we called Mississippi Whites! Good white meat and don’t have that blood strip down the middle of the sides

Another awesome video man. Looks like the stock down there is slowly getting bigger and bigger! I just looked through the state records for PA and I can't find a blue cat record? Just a matter of time until they show up in numbers in PA waters again. It will be cool to watch the record grow. I know they just stocked them down in the Pitt. Area. I'm pretty on the fence about them being stocked, but it will definitely be interesting to watch how it plays out.

This is awesome man, love these videos. I’ve fished around there from shore often for other species never tried for blues. Wanna give it a go this season, where can I pick up fresh shad?

Great day on the water in spite of the weather.

Weigh'em!

Great day you had there! Hay I see you have a drift sock what size is that? Do you only use one on the back or do you use one on each side??
