  • As a man suffering from alopecia — which we men usually call "going bald" — I would be DELIGHTED to hear a joke that basically meant, "I think you look like Bruce Willis in Pulp Fiction"
  • @bigblue1287
Everybody would've forgot that joke in 15 seconds but will Smith just made everyone remember it forever👋
  • @MR-lq7ss
That was the best breakdown of the Will Smith episode ever! So glad someone pointed out that Will Smith was laughing before the royal one decided she was not amused.
  • I loved how shocked Rock look, like his first thought is "really? THAT'S the joke I FINALLY got hit for? REALLY?!"
  • @cammacisaac9966
Ricky Gervais put it perfectly "Just because you're offended doesn't mean you're right". That goes for all aspects of life not just comedy.
  • “It’s the duty of the comedian to find out where the line is drawn and cross it deliberately.” - George Carlin
  • Jokes are what keeps us sane. "let the common folk take the piss out of you for a one second"🤣
  • @andyigwe7119
What a well packaged, well researched excellently delivered presentation. Bill Maher's monologues are now like an oasis of saneness in the utter craziness that is now America

I never would have known about: Chris's joke, Jada's hair loss, Jada sleeping with their son's friends, and Will being a creep kissing his son in the mouth, if Will hadn't made such a global spectacle.

Fyodor Dostoyevsky said: "Tolerance will reach such a level that intelligent people will be forbidden to think so as not to offend idiots."

Explaining Jokes to Idiots ... Absolute Masterpiece

All I have to say is if I slapped a guy for saying stuff I don't like, I'd get arrested, given a ticket and forced to attend counseling AND anger management classes just to get the charge reduced to a county ordinance violation but even then in the deal I'd have to promise to never be violent again or else I'll get the book thrown on me. And trust me I know, I've already been through it.
  • “It wasn’t an alopecia joke anymore than the one about the chicken crossing the road is about bird flu.” Love the Zapruder film references.
  • @mullethead1435
Ricky Gervais said, " I would NEVER have made a joke about Jada's hair !" "I would have made a joke about her Boyfriend that she cheated with !"
  • Best comedy show I ever been to: George Carlin at my college. He shocked us, he made us think, and he made us laugh. RIP

"Explaining humor is a lot like dissecting a frog, you learn a lot in the process, but in the end you kill it." -- Mark Twain

Thank you Bill for continuing to fight cancel culture and wokeness in comedy. The world is trying to revert back to what it was before comedians like Lenny Bruce, George Carlin, and Andy Kaufman fought against censorship. Seems that the fight for a free voice is never finished.
  • I’ve been a left-leaner ever since I became politically aware, and I’ll likely always remain one, but what Bill is talking about is absolutely true. It’s become embarrassing, and an increasingly heavy burden to share a political community with people who are doing these kinds of things.
