To know that the actor Billy Porter actually has lived with HIV for over 14 years makes this scene almost unbearable to watch. Billy was so incredibly brave to do this.

Nothing could have prepared me for MJ's scream, wow. She's been robbed of two nominations already, but I think the Emmys will finally recognize her incredible talent this year. What a gifted actress, I really hope to see her in many more projects.

Blanca made that entire scene REAL! it wasn't until she screamed that I cried. Pray lived his life with no regrets and he afforded Ricky that same opportunity.

I got choked up when Ricky said “I need you Pray.”, but I absolutely lost it when I heard Blanca scream. I just started sobbing at that point. One of my closest friends has lived with HIV since 2002 (he’s now 59), and Praytell’s death makes me wonder if he’d even be alive today if he’s contracted it just a few years earlier. I’m going to miss this show SO much. ❤️💯❤️

As someone who’s found both of their parents dead
This Scene had tears rolling down my face. The moments of realizing someone is dead is like hearing a million violins playing a horrible chord. Your reality stops, you can hear time and space.
And your soul reaches out but can’t feel that love that was once their.
It’s terrifying -
This was so painful to watch. Pray gave up his meds, and his life for his love to get better. 😭😭😭

I really love Ricky's range of emotions here. A very dynamic character, indeed. He goes from eager to see Pray, to the sudden realization that he's lost a loved one and mentor, to panic mode, exhausting all hopes to revive Pray until meeting Blanca in the lobby. This was a very moving scene. Superb acting from both Ricky and Blanca! They both made me remember that dreadful feeling of awaiting news of a loved one's recovery.

shit was deep after we found out he gave his meds to help Ricky.. he kept giving weird looks after the last dance when he said take care of blanca.

I've never cried so hard for a character's death like I did in this scene. He was doing so well....then to find out that he gave some of his meds to Ricky....Blanca wailing at the hospital. I was sobbing. So going to miss this show and this cast.
