Why did they not have life jackets on? You can see the guys on the sunken boat didn’t have them on. I think they should be mandatory for crossing the bar.

No life jackets?! It is so sad that the father who drowned was the "sole provider for his family." He leaves behind a wife and four daughters. I hope the mother conveys to the daughters that when they grow-up, they need to be educated or trained for job that will help support themselves, and I hope the mother also becomes employed.
