The Pilot is my Father, Cap. Carlos Cateriano Martínez, former Fighter Pilot of the Peruvian Air Force.
-
It’s the Stache that gave him the confidence to land that like a boss
-
You earned my respect. To the casual observer recognize both sides of the canyon walls have differing air currents updrafts, downdrafts, then the ground temp and air. Very skilled
-
I love how he puts it down fifty feet before the line, plenty of precaution, enough time to change your mind for a high altitude go-around. What a nice approach!
-
With that stache I’m surprised the hills didn’t start moving out the way
-
You know it’s a rough airport when you have to silence terrain alerts just to approach.
-
I love how the runway just continues and becomes the main road into the nearest town. Clever. 👍
-
That approach was insane, almost no room for errors
-
The greater the mustache, the greater the responsibility :)
-
The mustache ruined the suspense! We knew it was a successful landing as soon as we saw it. No spoilers next time!
-
That approach was insane! Kudos to the pilot!

Capt., I just saw this video. You sir are a flying GOD. I could only wish to have your skills. It would be an honor to have you pilot an aircraft I was lucky enough to be in . I can only hope that the people that you fly have any idea how skilled you are. They are lucky to have a protector like you . I WISH YOU THE BEST IN LIFE. Mike from Mass. USA

That mustache told me everything would be ok if i were in it.
-
I do not always land in Peru, but when I do I grow a mustache.
-
8 years to Recomend that, Best Vid Ive ever Seen. Pilot is Gangster AF Love 2 Peru ❤
-
Very nice approach and landing. This video proves to the whole world , without any doubts, that your father is an excellent pilot and a fine example to follow in that profession. Keep up the great work guys.

Nothing is as scary as landing in Detroit and having to walk to your car
-
And that, my friend, is why you aren't getting a gram of coke for less. Stop complaining.
-
Screw the threshold...we're not going around haha

My palms are sweating! My heart is thumping like a disco. This pilot has a HUGE pair. I'm gonna pour myself a drink now. Greetings from Alaska.
