I had intended to share a video for my song 'Easy to Love' today, but its not good enough. I'm not sharing proper videos for my originals anymore unless I'm really proud of them and feel they are the best they can be. So gonna work on it again this week!
So instead, I've covered one of my favourite songs ever. I find Regina Spector so inspiring, and I've been spending a lot of time this past week listening to the artists I love and working out what kind of music and songs speak to me, and how/why I want to write songs. Its easy to digress from a path when you see people doing things that work, and seem to work so quickly, but that's their path. This is my path. So retreating and listening to the songs I love really helps me get back 'home' in a sense :-)
