Les is not a Bigfoot researcher. He’s not even a Sasquatch enthusiast. He’s an outdoor adventurer and survival specialist. But, he’s had experiences when surviving alone out in the wilderness that he simply can’t explain. And now, he’s determined to separate fact from fiction, truth from hoax. In this episode, Les is going for broke. He plants multiple hidden cameras, prepares DNA traps, hangs pheromone chips, hand bells and chimes with camouflaged sound recorders, all in an effort to coax an interaction out of the alleged Sasquatch. Whoops and strange noises from the forest interior leave Les unsettled yet skeptical. Taking casts of animal footprints to compare with possible Sasquatch tracks, Les finds grizzly prints bigger than his hand. He scales the most remote and dangerous Grizzly Bear territory of the Canadian Rockies alone in his search for the truth. Les has to think like an animal – go slow and take breaks often. In this vast-reaching untouched forest, anything could yet survive.

God i wish you would do another season of Bigfoot les...thanks so much for putting these up on YouTube
  • in a parallel universe, the bigfoot is hunting the ever elusive Les Stroud
  • You know, Sass is watching Les the entire time he’s digging and hiding stuff.

I installed security cameras for a business once. "Motion detect mode" NEVER works right. You NEVER get enough detail on stuff you want to be of any use, and you always get way too much of dust, rain, snow, insects, etc. Trying to tweak and fine tune the sensitivity and "hot zones" is an exercise in futility. Having cameras in constant record mode was the only option that made sense. In this case you would need a camera in constant record mode with enough memory to record several hours before looping. Then a motion-detect game camera with a synchronized clock so that if it triggers on something but just misses it, you have a time stamp to go back on the continuous footage. Just a suggestion.

38:30 Damn, you had sleep paralysis, no doubt about it. Fits the description perfectly. One of the scariest things that can happen to a person.

If a man like Les Stroud believes there may be something out there, you know something is up
  • I’ve gone from skeptic, to fence sitter after this series. The final parts of this episode truly made my blood run cold. This is god tier entertainment.

Thank you so much for the bf content. It’s so refreshing to have someone with the character and integrity of Les Stroud to dive into one of the most compelling phenomenons in the world.
  • "Last time Todd was here, he only had".. this time WE'RE TOOLED UP. Man alive if I was going there the equipment would need air-lifting into place. Another fantastic video thank you Mr Stroud.

Everytime I watch these episodes, I think my trips to the Bighorns in Wyoming. The beauty, the smells of unpolluted air, and the majesty of the mountains. It's something that stays with you forever.
  • @SOMNIOHM
I bet there's some niiiice gold in those mountains!

The Sasquatch can definitely see the infrared light. Even geese are startled by the infrared light on my night vision scope.

Todd Standing chucking rocks into the brush every time Les turns around: "THEY'RE THROWING STUFF AT ME LES!"

I like your thought process of both enthusiasts and skeptics, especially where a person perceives everything to be squatch catch. You take a step back and analyze evidence and scrutinize the events. And ballsy? No way in hades would you ever catch me "out there" without a few comrades on deck. I also like the fact of how careful you place your footing, one wrong step and it could spell disaster! Well done Les, well done!
  • @MrChicanoRadio
These enticement centers and DNA collection setups are EXCELLENT! Great job, Les. You did an outstanding job on this series.
  • My Gosh, that place is absolutely incredible. Radium Springs or Radium Mountain. It looks prehistoric man!! Wowza!!!

I admire and respect Les. The world is a better place because of him. He is a legend and what he has done is awe inspiring. He spread knowledge from so many cultures and the pain and sacrifice he has endured to spread this knowledge is not given enough respect. Because of him I strive for a connection to nature and it has improved my life greatly. I wish one day to meet him, but then again would not want to bother him out of respect. Cheers to you good man. The things we dont understand about our own planet can make your head spin....there has to be something to the bigfoot phenomenon. Les, Steve and Dave are trying to be logical with presenting the unknown. I respect their commitment and courage, wish we can all come together and can put more resources into finding the truth.
  • @deborah5212
They’re seeing everything Les is doing!! They don’t miss a trick !
  • I hope you plan on doing more of these. Brilliant series and I love your approach to investigation. And of course, I absolutely adore the gorgeous locations you get to visit.
