this story line is so true and down to earth. Most pop songs are about happiness or breaking up with your ex, but this song is about a teenage mother trying to bring up her baby and keep him safe whilst she tries to bring a bit of money in by pole dancing and entertaining men at a pub. The dad's not there and she's trying to bring up her child so he can have a nice life unlike hers. It's one of those songs that you have to really listen to the lyrics to actually know what the song's about. It's sad but it has a great tune. My favourite song at the moment.

I find this song is especially beautiful because i was dumped in front of an adoption center or whatever when i was only a few month old. And this song is exactly what i believe and hope what was going through my blood mothers mind when she did it. "Your life aint going to be nothing like my life, i'm going to do what i got to do". I ended up in a great family in Iceland and it's all good :) Sorry if this isn't important but i just had to write this here because i've been thinking about this for a while now.

As a single mother,this song touched me and reminds me how strong I am . I have a son,father doesnt care about him at all. Me here working 2 jobs,trying so hard to give my son everything that he needs ❤❤ Everyday listening this song . 🎉

I really do believe that the pole dancing that this mother does as a job in this video also symbolizes all the jobs that mothers have to do that aren't socially acceptable,all the struggle at any point in order to raise their babies(because let's face it,we're always babies to them). My mother is not single but we're talking about mothers in here....she's worked very hard to raise me,she's amazing. "Facing the hard life without no fear Just see and know that you really care 'Cause any obstacle come you well prepared" Shout out to her and all the mothers that are pure miracles themselves and badasses.
