Imagine how old we’d all feel if we watched 80 year old Lebron shake hands with whatever phenom takes his record in like 2065
  • @Nyjeezy
Here after he just recently broke 40,000. I'll check back in at 50,000
  • The ending interview is like a fever dream. Bron is our childhood, adolescence, and now adulthood all in one. We grew up with a legend.
  • The double digits in 1140 straight games is the most impressive to me. Luka got hurt in the first quarter of a game last month without having scored, and that killed his streak. Amazing that something like that never happened to lebron

Not only was he a capable score from Day One, and started at age 18, and avoided major injury for most of his career, he was also in a situation that allowed him to score like crazy from the get-go. Everything worked out in service of LeBron breaking this record.

lmaoo when he said 2041 I legitimately started laughing out loud lmao thats just unreal.

    Most Points by a player before turning 24 8,682 - Luka 9,264 - Carmelo 9,978 - Durant 11,514 - LeBron

This was one of my favorite NBA analysis videos ever. The music, the data, the storytelling..all really great!

Unless the league changes significantly (adding 4 point or 5 point lines, increasing mins per game, adding more games to a season, officiating changes etc...), this can't be broken at my lifetime. With scoring talent like Jordan, Kobe, Malone etc..and changes in how the games played and officiated, and it still took someone decades to surpass Kareen's record. No way anyone is breaking this without a bunch of external factors.
  • LeBron has had the perfect career for a scoring record. Has checked every box. 27 ppg playing almost every game every year for 20+ years is just crazy, crazy stuff. We really take this man for granted

Jimmy, this video was great. Not just the stats, but the story telling, the delivery. The ending gave me chills. YOU are truly one of the GOATs of NBA content creators. Thank you for doing what you do.

Amazing breakdown, as always. The work you put in to give us this content is immensely appreciated by your subscribers, but more people should know about you. Keep up the amazing work!

Bro that transition at 5:56 was FIRE. Same angle from Cav uniform to Laker uniform.
  • Been a LeBron fan since 2008 and this is crazy man. As a kid I never understood the stats, but I always heard Bron being the youngest to break scoring records. Never thought I would see the day someone would not only pass, but obliterate Kareem's scoring record.
  • I'd argue the record he's held already with combined regular season and playoff scoring may be even more unbreakable. Because not only do you need to be individually great, but your team needs to be consistently great to make deep playoff runs almost every year.

I've watched this video multiple times and love it more each time. Imagine if Lebron wasn't so in love with the three-point shot or made 80 percent of his free throws.
  • @noijih
    40000 and still counting 😤
  • @funegosyo
With today's load management trend, these 2 are absolutely unbreakable records: 1) Wilt Chamberlain played 3,882 minutes on the court in 1961-62. 2) AC Green played in 1,192 consecutive games over 16 seasons.
