A fantastic weekend of flying at The Flying Legends Airshow at Church Fenton (Leeds East Airport) in 2023. Challenging weather for the pilots but wonderful flying!

  • Fantastic camera work! Thanks for the post. It's so nice to see an air show video and the camera person knows enough to slow down the shutter speed so the props look normal. Great collection of planes here.
  • When i see all those Spits flying together it gives me chills.. just beautiful. But, I also imagine them flying as 18 to 20 year olds heading off on a squadron scramble after being vectored to intercept 100+ bandits! Lest we Forget
  • Dear Sir, what a great movie. Superb! Many thanks for your passion and support. Kind regards Nick Grey

I was stationed in England in the late 1980's and have been to Duxford several times at many different airshows there. Really glad to see the Flying Legends airshow continuing. England knows how to put on a warbird airshow. No horse crap airshow performers. Just warbirds. Bravo for the Flying Legends and the people who make that airshow possible.
  • What a collection of beautiful aircraft all in one place.
  • But that silver P-38 is an awesomely beautiful thing. It sounds astonishingly like a jet
  • Great video, thanks for taking the time to share this with everyone. That commentator needed gagging, I think he managed 4 seconds silence.

  • WHEN did Flying Legends suddenly decide to come up to Leeds? I used to go to Duxford regularly and that was the ideal venue for it because it had good wide approach roads (M11 yards away) and one of the best air museums in the UK on the site, including one of the best collections of airworthy warbirds operating out of the site. I gave up going when Flying Legends broke up with Duxford and went to Sywell because I've had bad experiences getting in and out of airshow venues with tiny access roads (ie, Fairford) and as far as I knew it was still being held there. If I had realised it had moved to Chruch Fenton I definitely would have gone. Thanks for taking so much quality footage, I don't feel so bad now about missing it.
