1986 was the year Thrash began to really dominate but there was still a lot of awesome Heavy Metal. My choice for 1986 would be Crimson Glory's self-titled debut. Absolutely phenomenal album.
  • Happy birthday Trenches. My birthday year was 2004, I remember it as a year that gave to us GTA San Andreas & Half-Life 2. From the musical albums I can remember Mastodon's Leviathan as being one of the major sludge metal albums, and also Pig Destroyer's Terrifyer which is a cult grindcore classic. Lamb of God's Ashes of the Wake is also a good pick, but I'm not a big fan of their music even if I do love me some groove metal. The Dillinger Escape Plan's Miss Machine is a decent mathcore pick for me and one of my favorite albums in general, so here's that Let's not forget about the fact that Dimebag Darrell was killed in December 2004 during the Damageplan show
  • 1986 was an amazing year for metal! I sure wish there was brutal metal from my birth year 1975. Maybe Black Sabbath Sabotage? 😅
  • @YONATOOTH
I was born the day Leprosy came out 🤘

Happy birthday as well Metal Trenches! You have been an inspiration since I started following your channel. Have found a lot of new favorite bands over many sub-genres of metal thanks to your homework!
  • You surely were born on a pretty strong year for Metal. I was born in 91, which is also filled with bangers.

HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY! I think the best metal album that came out in 97 is Emperor's Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk 🔥

I was born in '94, which to my eyes was one of the best release years of the 90s. My favorites are as follows: Corrosion of Conformity - Deliverance Acid Bath - When the Kite String Pops Mayhem - De Mysteris Dom Sathanas Melvins - Stoner Witch Samael - Ceremony of Opposites Edge of Sanity - Purgatory Afterglow Gorement - The Ending Quest Rotting Christ - Non Serviam Korn - Self-titled Nailbomb - Point Blank So much awesome material.
  • Happy (early) Birthday, man! Been loving this channel since I first found out about in early 2021. Been showing me bands that I would have never gotten around to or haven’t heard before! Keep up the great work!

Happy birthday, you never seem to age. Always the same old skull. WHIPLASH-Power & Pain is still God. Miss it at your peril. Seem to remember the drummer from this record was headhunted by SLAYER for the tour when Dave Lombardo was pumping out kids.
  • @Oqualquer
