Oh no! For them to be smushed the damage doesn't really appear too bad at all. Coach quality for you! I used a clear Christmas tree bin to store my bags but space wasn't a consideration for me as I was moving alone. Glad everything is salvageable!

And more importantly that you and the family did 😊 This might sound extra nerdy (I went to school for this kind of thing) but I’m wondering if the elevation shift or atmospheric pressure during your journey impacted your bags, in addition to them being stacked together. Additionally, this kind of leather is very soft so any kind of impact can show for awhile. The fact that the bag was placed on top of other things makes me think that the factors mentioned came into place. I think them being quilted offers some durability in these bags. Honestly the bags look good still! 😊❤
