as someone who is disabled, i think the sandpaper holder is really useful! my hands shake pretty badly because of my medicines, so i have difficulty lining things up. being able to just pop a sander onto the holder and come away with a perfectly placed piece of sandpaper would be a godsend for me. it would make the whole task way less frustrating! its like the little needle threading pieces that you can get for sewing - really simple, and not everyone needs them.. but a really, really helpful tool for those of us who just can't get the damn thread through the eye

I'd say make a coffee table utilizing some of his different joints on each corner.

I think I'm gonna have to disagree on the sandpaper dispenser/holder. I think if you have a lot of sanding to do it is beneficial especially since the sandpaper is usually more or less lined up in the big packages. When I re-finish furniture I don't often use chemical stripping agents and prefer to sand the old finish off entirely since you have to remove any impregnated wood anyway so if I'm burning through a bunch of 60 or 80 grit on a 120 year old desk that would be a killer thing to plop right on top as I go

I'm sorry but I disagree on the sandpaper Thing, I don't know if you lineup the holes when you put that disk on but I always have problem lining them up I don't know if I can't see right or what but it doesn't work good.

The only way the sandpaper one would make sense is if the manufacturer packaged the paper already lined up with a couple of dowels in the box. But yeah, if you can't line up some holes on a sander without a jig, you probably shouldn't be using a sander.
