As a Nashville raised person, omg the traffic is so annoying. But it’s mandatory to smile here. We smile and we have open friendly conversation with people. Keep Nashville nice 🥰
  • I cherish the Nashville of my youth. It's no longer a town but a city. With that brings diversity and change. Some good, some bad. I still love this town. Lots to do, eat, see, and experience.

The food assembly hall is one of Nashville’s newer installments and I love it! I do a lot of work on Broadway and go there all the time to eat at one of their restaurants. They also have some cool shopping options at 5th and Broadway. I make videos on my channel about living in Nashville and this was nicely done!

I’ve lived here in Nashville for about 5 years in total including college and I just happened to see this video suggested by YouTube. Phenomenal job covering everything and 100% accurate on everything. Very impressive.

As a local, thank you for showing me all the parts of my city that I never see. It has changed a LOT in 25 years.

As a native, I definitely recommend getting outside of Nashville during your stay. All the surrounding towns have their own history and great places to visit. Though even further out there are many great state and national parks, great rivers for canoeing/kayaking, and some amazing hiking trails are all over the state. Civil war battlefields and Native American sites can be found all around the state as well.

I was born and raised here in Nashville, and I love my hometown. The traffic is a pain, but you can get around okay if you are mindful of the time of day. Ya'll come back now, ya hear!

Nashville native here! If you go to princes hot chicken do not get the “Hot” chicken unless you can handle your mouth being burnt off. Learned that the hard way
  • I live very close to Nashville and go there all the time. My favorite hot chicken is the original... Princes hot chicken! I get it all the time and I would recommend it to anybody. Other favorite places to eat are Slim and Husky's (Pizza), Itz a Philly Thing (Philly Cheesesteaks), and Riddim n Spice (Jamaican) :-)

Great information on Nashville. A lot of amazing things to do and see in this city.
  • I live in the area, and I must add that those of us who attend church more than likely benefit from outstanding music there. The choirs, orchestras, praise bands are the best almost everywhere you could land.

Went to Nashville for first time about 2 weeks ago. By far the best trip ever. Did Oprey backstage tour,Johnny Cash museum ,wax museum. All great. Went to a local vfw and saw The Cowpokes, very genuine band, awesome and entertaining. Also went to a picken in the park at an old airport where all the celebs would fly in . Definitely check out the surrounding area.
