Maybe it's just me, but Jake's book just gives off the vibe of how a sexual predator thinks? "Never take no for an answer, it's yours you just have to take it"-mindset. Uncomfortable af
  • He literally said to teen girls “I know you might be insecure and obsess over your appearance, but don’t worry- guys are obsessing over your appearance”
  • as someone (with boobs) i can confirm that it’s really annoying when i’m trying to text a boy but my boobs text him instead.
  • jake’s book was just nasty. telling middle schoolers about his sex life and acting like it’s okay to objectify women
  • I wish Jake Paul wouldn’t encourage boys to base their ideas on sex around porn... porn is unrealistic and terrible in its portrayal of women and how sex should be for them. I hate this
  • JAKES FANBASE IS LITERALLY 9 YEARS OLD WHY WOULD HE MAKE THIS BOOK
  • Sometimes when I feel self conscious about my writing I come back to this video to remind myself that, no matter what I write, it will never be as horrendous as whatever Jake Paul spat out onto those pages. Good god.
  • “I’m wearing sweatpants and I just had a pb&j smoothie” homeboy really tried to vlog through a book (….book vlog = blog… 🤯 )
  • Not only is Jake Paul telling girls that boys obsess over their bodies hurtful to girls, I also think it's hurtful to boys. I know that a lot of of boys that age are just discovering those feelings for the first time, and maybe they're a little ashamed of those feelings. Jake Paul could be someone they trust and look up to, and he is saying that boys should be watching porn and obsessing over women's bodies, and in that situation I would think that there is something wrong with me because I'm not a creep. It's a horrible thing to do to make people feel like there is something else wrong with them at such a vulnerable time.
  • “hey i know i’m 19 but i’m going to talk graphically about sex when i know my audience is a bunch of minors”
  • @JStack
6:41 how have we all moved past the fact Jake was attracted to cars before girls
  • Gabby Hanna’s book feels like if tumblr and “I’m 14 and this is deep” had a kid
  • can we just talk about how problematic it is for jake paul to be giving sex advice to girls about boys to 10 year old kids
  • A millennial using the phrase “Scrolling through the book” is a boomer cartoon’s wet dream
  • - tyler oakley's had a really interesting perspective on eating disorders, and was the thing that got me interested in learning about mental illnesses and neurodivergence - dan and phil's was like rhet and link's, and i found it very interactive and cute, however it was definitely written with their younger audience in mind - shane dawson's made me uncomfortable
  • I feel like through this book he is constantly trying to prove to us that he has in fact actually talked to a girl before
  • As someone who wants to be an author and knows how hard it is to get a book deal, it insults me so much when YouTubers treat it like a chore and don’t give a shit about what they’re writing
  • I'm so confused why Jake's book was so sexual in tone. Like who was this marketed for??

Ah yes as a girl I remember even through puberty “clothes, hair, makeup, and jewelry” were my main focus and not ballet and science. 💀
