Simply one of the most extraordinary piece of music ever recorded live. Young Dave Holland plays the fundamental role (did he know ?) of gluing all the loose parts into a brilliant performance that broke all the (then) known parameters of jazz-rock & fusion.

damn!!!! around 32-ish . . . I could listen to that groove all day for years
  • More than a half of a century later, it still sounds fresh and revolutionary.

Airto Moreira on percussion really reminds me of Stanley Kubrick in this clip :D

This is so intense!! As a 13 year old boy, I was brought up with all the bollocks you get in the charts today but luckily I found this before it was too late!! Miles is just on another level!! RIP

This music it seems to be made in a galaxy far away, compare to nowadays... Great !!!!!!!

Love it at 33:57 when those two guys turn their heads in disbelief when Miles walks of the stage and the rest of the band still freaking out! Then at 35:04 Miles returns to check out the crowd - you can almost hear him say 'Damn - I knew I was right!' Whoever has remastered and cleaned up the sound has done a fantastic job on this.

Fusion was just starting to make it's presence felt in the Jazz world at that time

Dayum. This still sends chills up my spine. Call it Anything is a correct title for this jam. Miles not only was a great jazz musician, he was a great musician period. Bitches Brew not only influenced jazz, but rock as well. In fact, it played a huge role in the development of funk as well.

Sometimes I love, sometimes I hate! Sometimes had a lot to say and sometimes nothing. This was Miles.
