"we were just doing our jobs" You see how that's worse right??
  • @jonny1x
“We couldn’t determine who shot first” that means the ATF (The Government) shot first

11 surviving Davidians charged with murder of the ATF agents. All 11 acquitted by reason of self-defense.👍

“We never really figured out who fired that first shot” that tends to happen when you confiscate and destroy the footage and evidence 🙃

They attacked a compound that had children in it. I don’t really know how they expected a group of armed Americans to react.
  • @kaiserc2471
"There are women and children in here!" so anyway, I started blasting...

Fun fact: a lot of ATF, FBI agents that died in the gun battle died because of friendly fire.
  • Federal pigs "I hears those shots go over my head it was so scary" Also federal pigs so anyway we burned the compound with kids down
  • The photo of the ATF sniper posing over the burned bodies in the compound says everything you need to know about these murders.

The Feds knew that David left the compound every Tuesday and they could have apprehended him then. This was about a show of force they wanted a fight but didn't expect to get their ass handed to them in the initial raid.

When i was in college i heard something like this going down. Some dude robbed a gas station ended up driving to the corner of campus and wrecked. Gunfight ensued, it lasted about five minutes with a constant steam of shots popping off. The report that was printed in the papers said the cops only fired between 20-30 rounds at the dude. I heard all of it go down from my dorm room and there had to have been 200+ rounds fired. I learned that day that the authorities will straight up lie to cover their butts or present the facade that they are competent.

It's always surprising/shocking to see police, ATF, FBI, or whichever government enforcement agency fail at a takedown raid. You're repeatedly told and made to believe they're invincible, unstoppable, and can handle anything, and then when you see them fail, it's just unbelievable.

These people died so that ATF could show off their military style tactics. David went into Waco every Tuesday and could have easily been taken into custody there but the lead agent wanted to “take him down” in front of his followers.
  • @tonybp
Yeah... sorry, but the government sure F'd up this one.
  • Time has passed and people have forgotten, but I distinctly remember telling my dad when he came home from work " Well, the damn FBI killed all those people in waco". He had been following the standoff and back then you basically had to wait till you got home and watch the news to get a story. We didn't have internet or cell phones.
  • was there as a Fire Fighter and Paramedic and they forcibly kept all the fire departments and medics from doing our jobs! Some of us were even "detained" for trying to honor our oaths!
  • It's disappointing to know that the people we count on as professionals in situations like these, failed so miserably. The fact that no ATF or FBI agents got disciplined for this is maddening. This is exactly why people become radical and hate our government. This was SO EASILY avoidable.

Imagine thinking the government is not responsible. Who starts an ambush by walking out unarmed, hands raised, yelling “There are women and children in here!”?? If the government “can’t determine” who shot first, that means they did.
  • They wanted blood why else would you send so many in full gear for a guy who came to town all the time.
