  • Pakistan is lucky to have wise and honest military people. They have safely invested Pakistani money in Papa John's pizza franchise, real estate in Canada, London, Dubai, and an island near Australia. Long live the Pakistani Establishment.

36:45 The economist is talking about the Food Processing industry. The YouTuber is "Ye Mirche Free de dete hain" 😂 Home work needed before you bring in such a knowledgeable person for a podcast on such a serious topic

I live in Solapur, Maharashtra State, India, we pay highest taxes in India or you can say even in the world. Highest of 64% House Tax in Solapur or even in Maharashtra. Upto 400% tax on liquor. Maharashtra state GST collection is more than Pakistan's budget. Bruhan Mumbai Municipal Corporation Corpus Fund is more than Pakistan's Foreign Exchange Balance i.e. USD 10 B.

@55:00 Don't spread lies. They only make you look good on papers. Your textile quality is not better than India - I was in Berlin trade show and none of the Pakistani vendors were wooed as compare to Indian vendors. India has an edge from north to south and east to west. Pakistan only have one mono quality. Don't compare with textile diversity of India. The reality is that he is living in the past.

Even Kaisar Bengali has missed the main pain point of Pakistan economy :its Army rule/ interference in governments and rabid fundamentalism in society...( Maulvi dominanance )... All of the rest follow from here... Trade deficit Deficit budget Poor tax collection Quality education Quantity healthcare Strong institutions Rule of law... Etc etc... Economy doesnt work in isolation...it is intricately linked with culture and philosophy of the nation...

In response to your question Dr. Bengali replied that lack of vision was the cause due to which economy was not developed. I think there has been a deliberate attempt to ruin the economy.
