  • The vocalist sounds like the actress, Mabel Todd. According to Wikipedia, she sang in vaudeville and on the radio in LA before her film career began.

    Well it doesn't sound that bad! That's what the needle does to a record that has real heavy bass--some Shilkrets are full of those white places! Wonderful Stafford and lovely vocal!
