when i was 19 i became a painter and met an old married man who decided to run away from his wife and live with me for almost a year. he showed me this song among many other things. our end and the ensuing heartbreak were inevitable, but i miss him dearly and i know we loved eachother more than most people ever love anyone. kristin, if you ever read this: i'm sorry and i wish you and your husband well.
