I signed up for a watercolor class and wanted to dip my toe into the technique before attending. I took this picture about a week ago and decided to give it a go with a watercolor version. MISTAKES WERE MADE. But, I learned. And that's what is important to me. Learning from my mistakes helps me improve and become better.
Disclaimer that this is not a watercolor tutorial, but rather an exploration in the process!

I thought your painting turned out quite nice. I am also interested in learning watercolor but haven't actually started painting yet so this was fun to watch.
