i remember hearing the acapella version for the first time, it was a few days after i found out i have a very unlikely chance of getting pregnant.I have PCOS and have a higher risk of cancer aswell. It was my dream to go through the same experience as the women before me in my family, although im the first to be in an openly wlw relationship, so that was another factor to the lack of pregnancy. hearing that i had pcos broke my heart, my dream was to have a child with my girlfriend. I just want to sing one lullaby to my baby and im only 16. all i feel i have ledt is my girlfriend and she dosent want kids, so shes the only one i can sing this to. I cried alone in my room after watching the episode of bojack horseman when PC found out she was infertile, it hit so hard and i listened to this on loop that night. I hope everyone in the comments who wants to sing this to their child can one day or will xxx Edit 04/04/24 : Still together with the loml and we've talked about it.
