#biohacking my nervous system through VNS using TENS.

[Own a VeRelief Prime] - hoolest.com/focusedlucas

In this video I go over various methods in an effort to stimulate my vagus nerve in order to improve HRV as well as cognition and sleep. I make my own device and then do a Hoolest VeRelief review and daily test. My results were very compelling!

Free method to help improve HRV:
Coherent breathing:
5-6 second inhale followed by a 5-6 second exhale.
Do about 1-2 minutes preferably in a comfortable location.

NEW CHALLANGE: Please try polyphasic sleep. It's basically splitting your sleep into multiple ''blocks'' per day. That way you can sleep less while still getting enough so to say. I'm sure you can find out way more through research, and it'd be so interesting to see! I wanna try it, but idk if it's really that effective, if it works, what the side effects are, etc... Since your videos are so detailed and you actually try alot of stuff, i thought it would be the perfect challange for you.

You should try wearing pinhole glasses for a whole week straight to see if they improve your eyesight

Fantastic! I was about to go the diy route to help my sister who has gastroparesis, a disorder with the vagus nerve. I'm going to rethink that based on your video. Perfect timing!

My understanding of any kind of nerve stimulation is that it’s a stressor that creates a gradual adaptation. Not too surprising that you would measure a negative impact directly after the stressor was applied.

  • I got the Mini version from the Hoolest, and it has been working well for as-needed stim on the go! I deep dove into HRV stimulation as a means to help manage some rheumatological conditions I have. I first heard about the importance of the vagus nerve function and vagal tone on Dr. Hauser's channel. He is a prolotherapy expert who believes correcting cervical instability, and the spinal curve is paramount to optimal vagus nerve functioning. Stimulators can help, but if you are compromising the nerve physically in any way, it won't help the nerve heal and work optimally long term. Use good posture, look up, and strengthen your stabilizing muscles, or get prolotherapy, if possible, in addition to these stimulating treatments!

Here are some video suggestions for you: only plyometrics workouts exercises in cold environment vs hot environment intensily stretch after a workout (Ive heard it could boost muscle growth) contract and extend your muscles quickly. Its like plyometrics + flexing ( example: quickly extend and contract your arm, so your biceps and triceps)

Can find out more about frequencies on YouTube usually linked to awakening and healing use earphones, much easier than holding a thing to your neck

I started doing a polyvagal ear massage which basically does the same thing as the ear clip device in this video. The ear massage is less than 15 minutes and you don't need any equipment besides able fingers. My rem and deep sleep improves by 40-60% the morning after I do them and my HRV is trending much higher on those days too. More importantly, I'm feeling the "zen" you're speaking of and it is AWESOME!!! I've only done it 6 nights but the results are substancial.

My concern with all of this is triggering tinitus which is very very bad. I'm not a doctor and not well-versed in any of this. Love your videos.

my mom’s Vagus nerve gets stimulated everytime she swallows, food pushes on it in the back of her throat and it makes her go unconscious 😐😐😐
  • @chiantiprice92
Whoa. This is next level Pigmie. A HIGHER DOSE OF FOCUS
  • @PollackBryan
Why did you use the "new" ear clips on the right ear? Isn't all of this supposed to be done on the left ear?
