Is the Bass Pond Really Dead?

has anyone else besides me have noticed that little Houston has soooo much respect for his Daddy he never talks while his Daddy is talking soooo sweet i just love the Arms family and i always look forward to seeing their videos

I admire how you interact with your son Houston. He has obviously been raised right. He is respectful And at the same time he has his own personality, sense of humor, and self confidence. Great job Dad and Mom!!!

I’ve seen that happen before on big lake , Lake Ontario one of the Great Lakes during its turning over ton’s of dead fish and some bass swimming on their sides in circles on top of water . We grabbed some of them put in cooler in cold water and took to another guys big pond and they survived so did other guys that were in bass tournament that day .

When I was a kid, the state of Maine tore out a dam to rebuild it. The water held back a very large (15 miles long) lake. When they took the dam out, it went back to its original state which was a small river. Millions and millions of fish, big and small died. The smell was unreal. The entire down river was full of dead fish. People were outraged. Once the new dam was built, the lake returned and within 2 years, the fishing was better than ever. It had washed out the sludge, reduced the big fish for awhile but the food for the fish exploded. The fishing was amazing for years. The big fish returned quickly.

I would like to make a sugestion. If I was in your shoes, I would catch as many fish out of your pond as possible and transport them to the mill creek pond, there fore you save your current fish, and you get to re-do your pond

How exciting it woukd be to see y’all increase the pond size snd get it stocked with all different sizes of bass snd brim !

You can sell your Trees and the money you make from selling the Trees will help with the pond increase . and you can put some of those sucker fish that helps keep the lake clean.

Hey Daniel, with that size pond you can probably get by with a floating solar fountain, which will aerate it, and helps with algae blooms too. Anyhow, you could get a 1.5 HP floating solar fountain for about $600, could be worth it even short term, unless you're content with draining and expanding it.

The favorite part of the videos are the big smiles on your faces when you catch those fish. Making a bigger pond would be expensive, but it could improve the habitat for those fish. I know the Lord will let you know what you need to do. It is a matter of finding the best information and then decide what needs to be done.

Daniel, it’s your pond, it’s your life, if you are going to stay there, make it bigger, add the aerator and heck with people that are against it.
