  • I live for wolves. They are more than just predators, they are nature at its best and fullest potential. As for the people of Idaho, your position is understandable; you need to protect your livelihood, but so do these wolves. The young female's passing is sad and tragic; to me, she will always be known as Mathulakai, which to me means nature's miracle; she was beautiful and her loss will always be painful. The Big Alpha, I think of as Argonute, is an incredible leader, and I hope he will roam the Sawtooth Mountains; with his family, for many years to come. Wolves will always belong more than any other species.

Born and raised in idaho. Love watching people explore my state. I've toured the world with the navy, and idaho is without a doubt paradise.

BEAUTIFUL DOCUMENTARY. But, ranchers wl do whatever it takes to protect their herds. 🐺🦊Please make poisoning wolves illegal!
  • Beautiful animals! It's so sad that they're off the endangered species list. They deserve to live just like we do.
  • Wonderful documentary, incredibly moving, thank you for making this! Man, I haven't seen anything make me feel so many different emotions in one film. I hope they find a way to cohabitate in peace. ❤
  • Thank u for doing ur work. After going nearly extinct to being bread and released of 35 wolves that added to being 800 is truly admirable! To bring them back from almost extinction just to being able to hunt them is outrageous to me. It saddens my heart. I truly hope we all can coexist with gods creatures. They deserve life too! Thank u again for bringing attention to the majestic wild wolf ❤

  • Beautiful documentary. I love wolves. They are social animals and they deserve the right to live in their territories in peace with protections given . Mankind has much to learn from wolves if only humans would listen. Thank you for sharing this beautiful documentary. 😍
  • A genuinely touching film and a lot of hard work to help these wolves survive. Thank you very much.

Thank you for not sugar coating the survival of these keystone animals. It was tragic to see the young female's death. Was a necropsy done and what was determined? To the outfitter who claimed "they don't belong here" --- I'll tell you who doesn't belong here, and it's not the wolf...... or cougars, or grizzlies, or coyotes.

This documentary is so confusing. It's called "Finding the Secretive Wolf" and yet all the wolves they see are right beside the town. Literally filmed from the roadside and up against farmers fences. They needed to bring in a "tracker", but there are wolves in the pack with tracking collars on. lol They spend a lot of time bemoaning the wolf being removed from the endangered species list as if they will then all be killed but there is a tag system for wolves just like any other game animal, like they elk that the wolves hunt. If wolves and humans are going to co-exist, controlled hunting is going to have to be part of the equation.

Great documentary! Thanks for the making this film! Wolves are gorgeous animal. They should be on the endangered animal list People are just worry about thier own gain, actually we need more apex animals to the food chain in balanced & helpful for the enviroments.
  • Great Documentary, Idaho currently has about 1,500 Wolves. In this film they said there were about 800 in idaho. Hunting them has not reversed the population.
