so the NPCs have new dialogue for a lot of stuff. I actually got married the same day as my fish pond got built, so I went around the town and the villagers were like "omg congrats on the wedding" except Pam who was like "hear you got a fish pond now. I love fish ponds" which feels very in character

My most disliked floor in the mines is 100. I swear, the only reason a lava eel can be found is because the trash gets tired of being perpetually fished up and manifests an eel out of itself

Mentioning Demetrius as the first to likely to die in a horror movie is probably an unintentionally hilarious callback to the fact that historically he would indeed be the first to die 😂

I loved every time you called Willy "William". That would be a hilarious Easter egg if you did that with one character in every video you release. I'd die hearing Caroline as "Carla". 😂

“You got hay? Are you sure that new farm is a good idea?” You get a whole coop and 2 chickens for free, but uhhh enjoy your fish smoker lol

fishing became even more awesome with the new machines. smoked fish+angler+artisan is a mean combo. 8 smoked gold quality sturgeon is already 10k. and now with the bait maker, expensive fish like super cucumber and sturgeon became extremely common. i still do the usual starfruit strat in summer, but fishing is really bringing the cash

A fun video, congrats on meeting your goals. I was a little disappointed that you didn't move to the full year (112 day) format a lot of other Stardew players have moved to though.

Fun thing I discovered is each house gets a smoker on the riverlands farm and you can remove them unlike the furniture. I started my file with 7 smokers.

with the new dialogue changes, talking to caroline the day after the grange, she'll say pierre is not happy with losing to you (obviously only if you won) but it was a really cool detail to run into

Great video. You should definitely do a 200 days follow up so you can fully show off all the new stuff like the desert festival (by far best holiday in the game) and different masteries 😁

Tea saplings are actually better to plant now since you get them back when you chop them. You can place them, harvest tea for a season, make it into to tea, sell it with artisan and then sell all the saplings when you don’t need anymore.

You have crazy luck. I go through the trash every single day and I’ve never ever gotten a trash hat in any of my saves. And usually I get an ancient seed pretty early in the game but I’m at the end of year 1 and still haven’t gotten one.

Just a heads up btw, the Speed-Gro fertilizers can be placed on a seed even after planting, so can the Retaining Soils. Only the quality fertilizers are locked for before planting.

Fun fact about ginger island, CA added 3 tent kits in a crate in the jungle, so even if you don’t unlock the farm house you can sleep the night on gingerbread island
