Being a Christian in the free world can be super hard at times. So many temptations. I try to carry myself as Christ would, but i often fail. Heres some honesty that some Christians wont admit but I would have to guess they are faced with as well. Sometimes it can be as simple as scrolling through Facebook. The other day I'm on Facebook and I seen an ad for some page, something like "hot pics of women in tennis". So i scroll past it. Then my sinner brain says go back and look. So i do. I open the page. I allow myself to be drawn in. Then I look up and im like, bro God is watching you, probably shaking his head at how weak you are being. So i pray. When i walk past a woman with those booty shorts, sometimes i glance back, sinning. The other day at a school wrestling tournament my son was wrestling. After a match both wrestlers shake hands and then shake the hands of the opponents coach, just a traditional thing in wrestling. My son is super respectful in all his matches, and he walks over to the coach to shake his hand. The coach turns his head away and just gives him a fist bump. Bro I lost it and I'm heated. I start thinking about going over and whooping this guy, sinning even if only in thought. But thats where sin starts. I don't think many men will admit it but we are tempted every day. When money is short or we WANT something new, dont we sometimes get that thought that says "bro just a few phone calls and you're back in the game". But you cant be willing to trade your salvation for instant happiness right now. I wanted to share my thoughts along with your video to let people know that yes it can be hard to be a Christian out here, but it can be done. And honestly brother thats what the Bible says. It doesnt say if you accept Jesus Christ as your savior your life will be easy. It actually says the opposite. It says you will be put against family and friends, you will be persecuted for your conviction. The only guarantee is eternal salvation brothers.
