Fatou's EP is underrated, self written and produced, she even directed the artistic vision of the mvs, she really blossomed with this EP I think. It's also very personal to her, since she was going through a hard time when she first wrote it.

Fatuo wrote all her own songs for this album and its all based on her personal experiences. She said in a teitter spaces live call that this one and the next are about the hard times she went through a couple years ago when all that drama was happening in BlackSwan and most of the other members left.

Fatou is bringing back old school hiphop and I'm so for it

The visualiser part of JKs MV is about him abandoning Army whilst he enlists and he feels guilty. He writes HATE on his arm which then turns to LOVE as he is running with the girl with purple hair (representing Army) She then slowly disappears and he is left running on his own, hence leaving us behind. The stadium was the army bombs in his solo concert he has recently performed. He feels the only way to get through this, is to hate us, but like he says ITS NOT THE TRUTH and ITS NOT CURE its just his way of coping with it. He has chosen all the songs on his album to form a cohesive story about falling in and out of love. And although he didn't write this song, for him to choose it and visualise it through Armies perspective is genius.

I feel like the lyrics to Hate You were pretty cut and dry. Relationships can fizzle out naturally and sometimes no one does anything wrong, the relationship just failed to thrive. Not all relationships end with “f you it’s time to move on” but sometimes “neither of us are at fault, we just weren’t meant to be, and it hurts to know we can’t do anything to save this” So the lyrics are saying it’s harder to move on knowing you still love that person, they did nothing wrong, but the relationship still couldn’t work out. That wishing they did something unforgivable so they could hate them instead hurts less than still loving them. And I think with JK leaving for the military, they decided to include the added storyline of even if he has nothing, he still has army. And the lyrics don’t end with hate, he states that it’s not the truth, he doesn’t really hate this person, or the cure to healing a broken heart - it’s simply the only way to make it not hurt.

The lyrics is her talking about what she went through guys, those were Fatou's true feelings.

Note about jungkook hate you lyrics last line is "It's not the truth, it's not the cure But hating you's the only way it doesn't hurt" so i take this to mean he's just masking the pain. He knows its not healthy but hes telling himself a lie to carry on. I think thats why they showed army. Only love is the real cure for what hes feeling.

Fatou’s video is a story line and that’s part one and the lyrics it’s true to her because of all she went true so yes it’s based in a true story cos she did want to do was she rapped and . Part two it’s out check it out . It’s titled the devil made the deal for me
