  • Anyone can play the hero, but it takes a lot of talent to play the villain and have the audience hate you. It's a lot more fun to show your dark side for once anyway.

That transformation has me in tears every time and idk why
  • @CreateCliches
Dude, that ending was freaking AMAZING! They lifted her up and all that, even made it seem like they were actually under water. Brilliant.

I didn't realize the "belt" joke until I got voice lessons later in life.... It makes more sense now! 😂
  • WARNING : this incredible performance will cause you to get multiple goose bumps and possible be driven to tears, also check to see if you're uncontrollably smiling afterwards.

anyone notice that ursula in this looks like effie trinket form hunger games??
  • @pseudodactyl
I think the costume does the performer a disservice in this.  In the film, Ursula's animation is super fluid and dynamic and you get that sneaky, witchy octopus-y feel just in her ahem body language.  This costume doesn't let Ursula move at all.  I mean, I know they can't recreate tentacles for the stage, but with those giant glove/sleeve things she can't even move her arms.

She sounds exactly like the recording...she has an incredible powerful voice, amazing!

outside of liking or not liking the voice, I LOOOOOOVED the transformation part!! it looks beautiful! and Ursula's dress is amazing too
  • @voguenasty
Weak ass applause after hitting that note. She should have got a standing ovation. Perfection!

Speaking of drag, I'd love Latrice Royale as Ursula!
  • @ItsJustaMeNow
I love her high notes after the modulation(key change) in this version! I tried singing the film version but it goes to tenor range /= Anyway, I think this was a stunning performance!
  • @JustinRex
Only Pat Carroll could play Ursula. Its that voice. There's no evil behind her voice. sigh
  • @CookiePeace123
I like this! But some of the people that say she isnt a good ursula or stuff like that, its a little hard to find voices like the original movie.
