Not only on first class, you can feel Garuda Indonesia crew’s hospitality in economic class also. The crew serving us with sincere, truly Asian culture. I’ve tried many airlines such as Malaysian Airlines, Singapore Airlines, but from my experience, Garuda is still the best.

How could 170+ people NOT like this report?? It's one of the best reviews I've ever seen. Garuda's come a long long way in the past few years. I've been to Bali at least 5 times, this makes me want to go back, it's a long long trip from where I live in NM. Again, thanks for a great video.

It's nice to be spoiled, I was once upgraded from economy to business class on a flight from Sydney Aus, to Paris.

Hey there! Thanks for trying out our national carrier. Garuda’s First Class has consistently been raved for its excellent service and attention to detail by many other flight reviewers, especially for the over the top escort through departure, immigration and arrival. Garuda even won Best Cabin Crew from Skytrax 4 years in a row, beating Singapore Airlines. Now that is an extraordinary feat, I have to say. Unfortunately they are starting to phase out their first class in some of their flights to London and Amsterdam from Jakarta. So we might not even see their first class anymore in a couple of years. Garuda are cutting back on quite a lot of things at the moment. As of this year, for example, they downgraded their champagne list in First Class from having 2000 Billecart-Salmon Cuvée Nicolas-François and 2000 Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rose to now serving Billecart-Salmon Brut Rosé and Taittinger Brut Reserve. I guess they’re losing out on their long haul flights to Singapore Airlines and the 3 Middle Eastern Carriers (Emirates, Qatar and Etihad). Garuda were supposed to start flying to Los Angeles, Moscow, Frankfurt and Paris this year, but all of them have been postponed for I don’t know how long. It doesn’t help as well the fact that their hub is in CGK in Jakarta. The city doesn’t exactly attract many tourists travelling premium. But fortunately Bali is going to get a brand new mega airport up north sometime before 2022 that should attract more premium passengers travelling on direct long haul flights to Bali. I will say that you should have tried Garuda’s Japanese menu as well. You had one from the Indonesian menu and one from the International menu. I have to say that Garuda are sooo on point with their food in Business and First Class. I would even say it’s better than Singapore Airlines’ (maybe on par with their Book The Cook service). I really love how you narrated every single detail in this video. I just wish you recorded your arrival process from disembarkation to being escorted out when arriving in the terminal to your private car. It’s just that I haven’t seen a flight reviewer do that when arriving with Garuda’s First Class in Bali. I hope you continue making flight review videos like this! :)

I love Garuda, their Business Class product is a solid offering too... My previous flight in business with them they also use proper champagne flutes and served Salmon Billecart which you normally only find in First Class from my experience. They are an amazing airline.
