  • As a detectorist In Australia, you people from the UK are so lucky to have what you have - being able to find the things you find! I’ve been thinking very seriously on moving to the UK just because of my hobby. The earliest we get here is low 1800s, although I found a 1700 farthing! Love your content mate!

Simon, I just have to say that you produce amazing videos. I am 72 years old and definitely have some favorite YouTubers, especially mudlarkiers. I am too old and disabled to do what you do. So my mudlarking is done through your eyes. I just watched your Liverpool video and it was so enjoyable. And the search for Dino tracks in Scotland. You are a very charming young man. I appreciate the respect people like you show for the antiquities you are blessed to find. Love the music and your filming style, it just makes for wonderful videos. Your Liverpool video is the closest I will ever get to actually seeing the amazing history there. Their tourism departments should hire you to promote them. Keep it up!

You seemed to have such patience with your silly (likely drunk?) friend who refused to get out of his boat. But, my comment is about how much I enjoy your creativeness and positive attitude. You are very talented. Much fun to watch. From Northern California USA

I trained at Westminster Hospital as a General Nurse 1983 to 1986, it is a small world. Loved watching this day of mud larking you all seemed to have such fun,

I literally would’ve just left him. He can choose whether he wants to live or not. Hey! I’ve seen this kind of UK Roman kiln made & demonstrated on Time Team! It’s an all-nighter to keep the heat huh? Pretty awesome he went for it and made one like that’s dedication.

45:23 "Am I Floatin?" OMG, I was in stitches! He must be a good friend with you all diggin and grinding your way to get his big a** afloat! LOL
  • @lilirehak5569
This was hysterical -- nothing like boating adventures. And the pot reproductions were GREAT!
  • @adriannenash9852
Chris saying the day was better than his wedding made me do a spit-take with my tea! Too funny with his giddy cackle added! Be well from washington state USA ❤️
  • What an epic VIDEO. What can I say it has adventure, drama, life and death situations, experimental archaeology, history hunting and the most fun with my two MUD Brothers ❤❤ great video Simon ❤❤
  • Always a pleasure to see you and fellow mudlarks having fun and inspiring each other

For the hospital bottle, maybe put tape around the outside where the break is and pour in tinted resin, maybe 1/3 full, or just above the break. Once the resin hardens take off the tape and it’ll look like a bottle of medicine (from the good side ;)
  • SI YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS LOOKED LIKE YOU HAD A SMACKING GOOD DAY. I WAS WAITING FOR YOU GUYS TO DUMP HIM OUT OF HIS CANOE THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT. THANKS FOR ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO. GOD BLESS YOU SI FINDS.
  • @user-fj5lj8wd2t
Thanks - You're spoiling us now Si! Adventure, comedy capers, danger, treasure, history, ancient crafts - all in one super duper episode!! (even the Hens played their part in telling you 'cup, cup', funny) Loved it!! ♥
  • Chris' laughter is hilarious. Love how he used his Crocs as an excuse. Pottery firing was so interesting. Hey Daisy & Si's 🐥 🐥

You are multi talented that’s for sure!! Those hip flasks are amazing!! Have you ever thought about mudlarking the broken pieces and try to actually build something with the pieces themselves together? You probably have, I would be over the moon finding those Roman pottery pieces. Cheers Si!!!
  • @cathyjay2569
“This is the best day of my life!” said Chris. And I am sitting in my RV laughing my head off. The dog thinks I’ve gone mad!❤TN Nana
