My dad wrote this song many years ago. Its a true story based on an experience in his life. He would be very glad to know so many people find it helpful in their grief.

I lost my father way back in 2011, I was only 16, today I am 22 I miss him and this song gives me hope that he is watching.

I just love this song becos I lost my father at a young age & I miss him dearly. I miss that fatherly love. At times itz very difficult seeing other children having their dadz around them but praise be to God that I have a heavenly father who takes care of me and loves me and fills that void in my life.

I so remember my mom teaching me this as a wee little girl. Made tears sting my eyes. I have lost both parents as I am up in age too now. Never have I stopped singing this song that meant so much to me as a small little three year old.

My daddy died in a terrible accident when I was 6 yrs old. Before that he & my mom were divorced. The older I get, the more I miss him. Then my only child, my daughter, died 22 yrs ago & my world fell apart. I know she is in heaven with my dad & others & it will be great to one day again be with them!

I miss my daddy its been 24 years..... my twins was 4 months old when he passed they are now 24 years old.... there not a day that don't go by that am not missing my dad i know he in heaven and we will meet again i love you daddy

Great country singer. This is the first time I have heard Kathy sing. She has a beautiful voice!!!! I have been to Ireland twice and I want to go again. (I am from Missouri in the USA and I love country music.) I would like to see Kathy in concert. in Ireland.

I happened to flick through the TV channels to night and found Irish TV and Kathy Kane was on, it was the first time I had see or heared of her, wow what a singer, I am hooked.

My husband passed away in his sleep on April 6th 2017 he was only 43. I had to tell our kids he died. I found him when I came home from work. We miss him so much. Didn't get to say goodbye 😢😢
