Poor little boy. Those dogs were like weapons. Horribly irresponsible to have them.

Finally a dog owner being held accountable!
  • Why do they always say they're surprised when dogs attack kids ? Kids, the old, they instinctually go after the weak.
  • All those signs on the gate really aren't helping her case. This is someone who wanted her dogs to be dangerous.
  • Really sad....its not just an accident...she must have known her dogs were large and shes not able to control them herself. She had no business with a child at her home .

It was not an accident! Why interview the clueless neighbor?
  • I'm so The law needs to be very clear about personal responsibility towards animals, negligent homicide with an animal should carry decades to life in prison for maiming or killing another person. It is utterly ridiculous how many times this has happened in recent years.

She knew her dogs were dangerous, look at the signs, she REVELED in them being dangerous.
  • If your dog attacks my child.... Oh boy, bad bad things are going to happen
  • Very sad to hear a little person baby died. I believe parents and dog owners need to be accountable and liable

Someone intentionally let their brindle coated pit bulldog attack me on a public sidewalk, and that dog was on a leash. Completely out of the blue, the owner (a complete stranger to me) actually crossed the street to bring it into range of my person, making no attempt to control it and laughing (smirking) about it. Fortunately it only shredded my bag. But my point is vicious people have vicious dogs, and neither should be allowed contact with human beings or any other living things. A well bred, well trained dog will only attack if there's a valid reason to do so. And they're protective of, not aggressive toward, the weak (children and elderly or disabled people). But vicious people "sic" their dogs on anyone and anything that happens to pass by, just for kicks and because it makes them feel powerful. They encourage their dogs to chew and be destructive, to fight, and to bark constantly.
  • Only took Portland 8 months to file... job job Portland, another record

If a person cannot control their pets, they should not own any animals. Poor kid is only 6 years old. 😢
  • @ouroboris
Do not own a dog if you do not intend to properly train and control it.
