With an 11-1 record, the White Sox had one of the best postseasons ever. They had dominant pitching, as shown by the unbelievable stretch of four complete games in a row in the ALCS. The offense came through in the clutch. The 10 year anniversary is approaching and this team remains the pride of Chicago baseball.

Most dominant postseason run ever. Never see starting pitching last this long ever again. White Sox forever...This team had the true grit. Thank you 2005 White Sox.

Konerko's October in 2005 has got to be regarded as one of the best of all time. What a legend.

El Duque's Houdini act vs. the Red Sox as the White Sox sweep defending champion Boston... A.J. Pierzynski "steals" 1st base vs. LAA... Sox starting pitchers toss 4 complete games to beat Angels... WS Game 2: Paulie's grand slam & Podsednik's walk-off HR... Geoff Blum's 14th Inning pinch-hit HR... Juan Uribe's in-the-seats catch... Sox are champions winning the same way as on Opening Day: 1-0. Thanks, Dad for taking me to my first baseball game at Comiskey Park in 1972 and allowing me to fall in love with the White Sox. No Chicago championship will ever mean more to me.

I always tear up when I see Paulie's slam. The sorrows, the pain, the anger all erased in one swing of the bat. The Cubs might be on the way to win the World Series but god damn they will never top what my beloved Sox did under that crisp October moon of 2005. PALEHOSE NATION!

I've seen my father cry on two occasions: 1) at my Grandmother's funeral  2) When the 2005 White Sox won the World Series.

that 05 team was just beyond anything chicago had seen in such a long time.
  • @colingordon0986
Sad this will hardly be remembered now because of the cubs winning the world series! and it should be because this was one of the most dominant postseason runs that i can ever recall! this is how you win a world series! GO SOX

Modern baseball has not known and will never know a team as clutch as the '05 White Sox.
  • @me6017
This team would definitely beat the Cubs, even without Frank Thomas. This team was/is the epitome of total domination.
  • My father died January 20, 2005. He was a Sox fan. Divine intervention. You can put it on the board. YES!
  • @pooface5
crede's batting average seemed to be like .900+ in clutch situations.
  • @shakukon-to
ALDS game 1. Interesting fact, due to the amount of home runs, they ran out of fireworks.
  • @bachaka61
Wow Konerko was super clutch!! What a great player, along with Buerhle.
  • @Qwnntm
This is the most epic postseason highlights video ever, because of 2 things: 1. The White Sox literally steamrolling everyone like they're in some kind of video game. 2. The MUSIC
  • I turned 10 the day the Sox won the pennant and watched that game in the process. Needless to say, that was a great birthday gift for me and all the city

Goosebumps. Mark Burhle is retiring this year. Last 2005 White Sox player. I will cry.

I'm a White Sox fan, I'm here because the Cubs are advancing to the World Series. Im not a Cubs hater, but I just wanna remember what a winning South Side team looks like.
  • @user-fy5vz4bh9d
The 2005 White Sox could beat the 2016 Cubs ANYDAY. It wouldn't even be close.
  • @warugizenahy328
Not a white sox fan but watching this made me forget all the stress I had
