You can’t prevent a bird from flying over your head, but you can prevent it from building a nest in your hair.

Unfortunately it’s rare to hear a brother in Christ give instructions like this. With a pure heart, really trying to help. I love you Paul. God bless you

Listening to Paul Washer is like a long cold drink on a hot day. He has a heart after God.

Thank the Lord for providing technology that allows people like us all the way from Africa to still benefit from the wisdom and experience God has given to Pastor Paul.

I've backslide and stopped attending the church. I though it was okay. During that time I've committed atrocious sins and now seeing how my pride invited the devil to tempt me to succumb to sin again and again. I am now repenting from all the things I've done and I've been praying for God's guidance and mercy towards me. This message opens my eyes to all the things I refused to see back then. I know I may be stranger to all of you but I would like to ask for prayers from each of you. Thank you

7:08 “If you’re going to neglect your study of scripture, memorization, meditation of scripture. Then you’re opening your life to less and less conformity and more and more sin.”

I've been a Christian for several years and every time I get more involved in the Word of God or the Church, the devil attacks. Christianity is harder than atheism by a long shot but the rewards of eternity in Christ will be well worth it
  • "16 hours a day behind enemy lines" is the most brilliant comment on the world and the effects of sin I have ever heard. A knew way for me to think. Thank you Paul.

1.Get in the Word 2.Pray 3.Attend a healthy church “God is good and has a plan to give you a hope and a future plans for good”
  • Ironic what you said regarding sin, that hopefully it will be a lot less as we grow. As I've grown, I am becoming more and more aware how much I sin and how helpless and hopeless I am without Christ. I think the most important thing I've learned over the years, is that walking in the Spirit is not learning to be 'self sufficient', but becoming completely dependent on the Holy Spirit. like a child who is truly dependent on their parents, completely trusting.

I had 4 deaths from June to July this year. Literally in one month, while being persecuted, while being rejected as well. It drove me to drinking, smoking, murmuring, things I know I was delivered from. Every morning I read my Bible until the tragedy struck. I’m nothing without Jesus Christ when I missed 39 days without waking up with my eyes on Christ I could feel it, things felt wrong. I Thank God for this message. Thank You For Sharing.
  • I appreciate this...feels like pastor Paul is speaking to me one on one like a dad. Thank you...I remember when I was in sin before.. I felt helpless I couldn't get out, I doubted if God was even true. But I was in there bcz I didn't meditate on God's word, I flirted with the snake instead of running away from it, even had opportunities to kill the sin but I kept coming back. I was so broken in sin that I wanted to die bcz I can't stop. But God saved me, He opened my eyes, He helped me... it was a long road to recovery and painful as it is... I needed that discipline of my loving Father so I can be united with Him. He is unbelievably patient and merciful to me. 5 years passed and I have never felt so much joy, contentment and peace. God fills my heart with everything I used to crave for. He is my full satisfaction. HE IS MY LORD. 🥹

Paul is one of very few men left who unashamedly, boldly preach sound, Biblical doctrine. His messages are strengthening, at times convicting, refreshing and encouraging.
  • @owenmichael7781
I needed this alot😞,,i pray not to fall into temptation again in Jesus name🙏
  • Thank you I loved that , I got saved Aug 13 1978 I have never been the same , when I do something wrong I confess it and ask for forgiveness. I’m 86 today but the devil don’t leave us alone just because we are old. Keep in the word and pray often.

"If people don't understand the Godness of God, they cannot recognize the sinfulness of sin." (Paraphrase of R C Sproul).
