That call would’ve never been made against the Cowboys. I’ve seen it season after season. Every time the Giants face the Boys, they’re fighting an uphill battle against a biased officiating crew.

He was blocking his man backwards, and then the defender disengaged from his block. He then stepped back. I'm not sure what else he was supposed to do in this situation. Should he have not blocked him at all, and potentially let the defender have a free shot at the quarterback? I'm a Giants fan. Maybe, by the book, it's a penalty. Maybe. I also watch RedZone every Sunday. On many, many "good" touchdowns during the season, I see many, many offensive linemen much further past the line of scrimmage than on this play, and many of them weren't even engaged in blocks. One way or the other, officials need to get their şhit together.
