absolutely mind boggling to think this place wasn't made in the 60s. So amazingly ahead of its time

This should be a museum, it doesn't have the HOME feeling

I really like this agent. She does a great job of describing the place and talking about the history but without the bragging and sales pitch that so many agents pull when they show a place, in real life or on tv.
  • Judging by all the comments, I guess I'm one of the few that adore this design. I love how the light-filled open spaces and dim "nooks and crannies" ebb and flow into each other. It feels monumental and intimate at the same time. It's like you're constantly exploring, and along the way you keep on finding cozy spaces that invite you to stop and reflect for a while.

This is the kind of house a James Bond villain would own.

Wow she's really done her research. I dig how unexpectedly educational this vid was

I bet all of the previous owners died under mysterious circumstances in the house
  • I never have, in my life, the desire to be a billionaire. Until I saw this house.
  • Strange, all that house on the outside, but yet I felt claustrophobic on the inside.

I am shocked this is up for sale as a home! Decades ago, I was a docent for the nearby Hollyhock House & we toured this legendary, magnificent structure pre-restoration. It was such a privilege and honor to walk inside one of Mr. Wright's famous homes. I really thought it would be protected as a historical building? Well, compared to what I remember seeing, the restoration was very well done and it was much needed.

Frank Lloyd Wright - the best architect the US ever produced. The Ennis House has long been iconic, and to see it so lovingly restored and furnished is a delight. Thank you for sharing this!
  • Must’ve took forever to collect all of that sandstone. Definitely built on creative...

It’s pretty amazing to say my school was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright as well as numerous other buildings and homes in my city.

Looks like a home where rituals would go down well

I would buy it in a heart beat if I had $23M. This is a priceless work of art. The significance of this house in architectural history is immesurable.

So happy to see this great restoration of the Ennis house - and it deserves this preservation. One of the FLW's greatest. Realtors take note: This is how you show a house--without hoopla and even a sales pitch. People who know FLW will know what this is and the value it contains.
