The Love is Blind Reunion was Uncomfortable...

Shayne and Shaina deserved WAY more smoke than they got on the reunion. Shake is horrible and I feel bad for his mom bc she actually seemed really nice.

So there’s some internet detectives that found Shaina was in a relationship before and after, likely during the show. They’re now engaged, lol. He’s the owner of the restaurant she and Kyle go to on the show.

People should be praising Shake’s mom. She told her son the day she met Deepthi that she deserves only the very best. His mom didn’t even know what he was saying behind everyone’s back and she still went to bat for Deeps. Nobody should be harassing her.

Having shake as the scapegoat of the season allowed some of the other cast to be let off the hook easier. Shane and shaina to be exact

I live in Chicago. Shaina had a boyfriend the entire time she was on the show. He owns a popular brunch restaurant chain here. They just got engaged. In fact it was HIS restaurant she and Kyle were standing outside of when she dumped him on the show. She was never interested in a relationship- it was for publicity for her boyfriend’s business. Also I firmly believe that Shane called Natalie a slur. And that is why he was terrified about talking about the fight. This cast had waaay more drama going on behind the scenes than the show or the reunion would suggest. Sal had a stalker. Shake was always planning to break up with Deepti, Shane has addiction issues…it’s a LOT.

Shake was right about one thing, he was right that the viewers (or at least me) were thinking that Shaina only said yes to Kyle to stay on the show.

I agree that producers for sure imagined the inevitability of couples not being physically attracted to each other, but notably they still only cast conventionally attractive people. If the “experiment” REALLY wanted to lean into the “love is blurry” of it all, casting would be much more representative of society.

We must protect Natalie, Natalie’s dad, and shakes mom at all costs.

Ok did I miss something, or did no one at the reunion bring up the fact that Shayne, after asking Natalie to be his GIRLFRIEND, still went into a conversation with Shaina asking her what she was wearing and being all flirty?? Why does no one talk about this? If Shaina hadn't said "I know you asked Natalie to be your girlfriend today," then Shayne would've just continued acting like nothing had changed. I thought this would have been a bigger reveal to Natalie, but it seems like it wasn't discussed...

Shake is a horrible person and didn’t deserve the screen time he had, but he wasn’t wrong about Shaina and I guffawed when he brought up how she was just a clout chaser SKDKSKD two horrible ppl bickering, love to see it

Natalie was terrified of Shayne. Every time she spoke to him, she had her walls up. I feel like she was more expressive with Shaina because she wasn't afraid of her.

I feel like they let Shaina and Shane get away with so much. This season was not giving . I’m surprised how calm Natalie was when talking to Shaina . Shake was just trifling this whole reunion. I love Deepti and Iyanna. I agree with you they left out so much out for this reunion. You hit so many points🔥🔥 I was shocked when Shaina said that to Kyle about his mothers engagement and that she felt manipulative, like whatttttt. Yes Kyle and Deepti I like it. Watching Natalie and Shane was uncomfortable she like looked so scared and sad . Omggg I didn’t know that Natalie told Shane prior to the wedding she was going to say no . Shane literally needs to work on himself. The way Shane freaked out when they asked him about Shaina is very telling and suspicious.

And Shake, obviously attraction matters to some degree, but he presents a misogynistic and frankly Aryan definition of what attractive is. He also made Deeps sound like she was disgusting for no reason. We also know that his self-worth is tied up in the physical attractiveness of his partners. So when he says attraction matters, he doesn’t mean it the way you do, Hannah lol.

I think shake thought he was going to he perceived as the villain everybody loves, like how New York (Tiffany Pollard) was in Flavor of Love, except that Tiffany is funny and has a personality that’s great for reality tv and shake is just a douchebag lol, there’s a reason why she’s revered as a reality tv queen, and ppl remember who she is

Shayne was gaslighting Natalie on the reunion as well. Shayne’s Turing the conversation by basically saying- I did 99 things wrong but you did one thing wrong and you should apologise for it!. That was so bizarre to me.
