My Dad retired from the US Navy. He served as a Combat Medic during Vietnam. God bless our Veterans.

I am teaching my son that if we come upon a Veteran, no matter what war or service, he tells them Thank You For Your Service!! I see the sacrifices that families make not just the soldier!! We thank them and their families and honor them where ever they are!! GOD BLESS YOU!!! We Will always remember!!!

I spent 21 years in the Army Special Operations Community and a few of my instructors were Vietnam Veterans. These guys are top notch and I love each of them and appreciate every bit of knowledge that they passed on to me.

This are the real Americans capable of dying for America, Liberties and Freedom. I wish Politicians learn from this group of courageous Americans

As a Vietnam vet I can't tell you how much I appreciate a thanks for my service. Also when my brother vets say welcome home it makes me extremely proud of my service
  • I returned in 1971. I was treated very well, even in San Francisco, where I left from the airport to return to Savannah, GA. No problems. People were very nice.

This was a very moving story. I wish we could have given my father this level of tribute. He was a US Marine pilot in WWII, Pacific theater. I hope to see him and my mother again. Thank you for sharing this moment with us.
  • Thanks to all that served in Vietnam; and the wives and kids that endured their father being deployed when you are a 7 year old military dependent.ย  Dad made $78 a month in 1965, in 1977 I made $192 a month, when I got out in 1980 I was making $375 a month as a sergeant in the united states army, went into the active reservesย and got out in 1984. :)

I am so sorry for how your were treated. Not cool. I salute you a million times to make up for the lack of proper welcome and saying thank you. God bless you all and may God protect you always. You are the true heroes. ๐Ÿ™ ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐ŸŽ–๐Ÿช–โค๏ธ
