forspoken has a few classic isekai tropes; 1. parents are involved in the fantasy world; usually kings or queens 2. starts out with legendary object and/or is somehow the magical exception to the norm 3. death of mildly relevant character results in MC gaining motivation to kill the dark lord 4. completely hops, and/or never even thinks about, the language barrier, with bullshit logic nobody explains 5. kills off about 1 character the entire time, usually at the start 6. set in not-rome medieval rome. 7. protagonist (usually from modern day society) uses lots of cool hip slang like the kids do, and the world's natives dont understand its weird that forspoken wasn't a book. it'd probably be BETTER as a book.

I really like Nerd City's rants and talks, they are super educational and are actually teaching me so much about interesting things I never really cared about before at all. Like the Black Rock one for example was excellent. Thanks guy

"Don't let anyone shame you looking into things" is a GREAT concept to keep in mind, Nerd had a great point, we're in such a weird moment in history and the whole COVID/lockdowns/masks thing made this thing 500% worse, people were just picking sides like it was a football game, it's just sad and it keeps getting worse

Sounds like Colossal would appreciate the integrated showering mechanic in mgsV and the fact Quiet bathes constantly for 20 seconds straight in her cell at motherbase...it's not important why I know that

I only just realised there's only 12 episodes to this podcast, and that I have actually watched all 12 videos of it so far. This is a massive first for me, I normally hate podcasts vehemently.
