Playing this song with my two other cousins. I’ll be playing John’s part with the chords and my acoustic, while my older cousin plays George’s part with the riffs on his classical and my other older cousin plays the same chords on her ukulele.

My first memories as a child of 5 in 1968 were of playing my mother's Beatles albums over and over day after day and singing along. After 30 years as a radio DJ your perfect lesson has allowed me to come full circle and play this classic correctly. THANK YOU!

The Beatles' studio version started with Fm then raised to F#m at the last stanza. This tutorial is superb, I'm glad to have dropped by.

You're my favorite guitar teacher! tutorial, voice, best song select always. I'm learning from japan. Thank you always❤️
  • You might not be reading this comment, but I wanted to thank you for everything you do. I couldn't be more grateful to you. Eventhough I can't play Em shaped barre chords very well yet, I still learn songs which contain them because your lessons are so easy to understand. And in a way, they helped me overcome my fear of barre chords because earlier, I would just abandon songs that contained them. But with your help, I'm becoming a better rhythm guitarist with each lesson. Thank you for taking the time to post these amazing lessons, the best on YouTube. The great thing about you is that you explain *everything*, while other teachers on YouTube may skip some parts. Also, glad to know you're a Beatles' fan! Thank you.
  • The mic’s really did justice to both your vocal and the Guild. Loved the lesson. Can’t get enough of the Fab Four.
